The house forms two separate holiday homes; on the ground floor, The Chaff and, above, The Oast. Booked separately they afford independence. Together they can accommodate up to 10 visitors in comfort. The owners have worked hard to retain the characer and warmth of this old building. Inside, great care has been given to colour co-ordination and tasteful furnishing, blending original features with modern comforts. The house is one of a cluster of traditional farm buildings at the heart of this mixed working farm. Close at hand is the historic market town of Bromyard with popular Downs and Brockhampton Court (NT). Within easy reach are the cathedral cities of Hereford and Worcester, and Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle and the Cotswolds. There is also excellent riding, golf, tennis, fishing and an award-winning restaurant nearby.
The Oast is set above the Chaff House and is accessed separately via an external railed stone staircase which leads to the first floor entrance. There is an attractive open plan living room with electric fire and an oak fitted kitchen area. Also on this floor is a spacious double bedroom, bathroom, w/c with separate shower, cubicle and further w/c. On the second floor there are a further 2 twin bedded rooms. The Oast sleeps 6 plus cot.
Chaff House is everything you need for a comfortable stay with full central heating. The beamed living room also has an electric fire and has good space for the family to share the stories of the day. The Kitchen/Breakfast bar is fully fitted in an oak farmhouse style. The accommodation is completed with one double and one twin room each tastefully decorated and a shower room and w/c.
