A very warm friendly welcome awaits you at Sink Green Farm with its 16th century stone farmhouse overlooking the picturesque Wye and peaceful Herefordshire countryside, yet only three miles from the Cathedral City of Hereford.
Our 170 acre farm has been in our family for over 90 years when it was purchased by my Grandfather to enable livestock purchased around the Welsh borders to be collected together and rested before being walked into Hereford market to be sold. We started providing holiday accommodation in 1991 and believe that we are located in the ideal position for those who would like a relaxing holiday or somewhere to unwind after the pressures of business.
We pride ourselves on our traditional English breakfast, and where possible use either locally sourced produce or home made. Of course we are more than happy to serve whatever combination of breakfast you wish for, catering for your personal dietary requirements. Home made muesli, along with fresh fruit and yogurt are normally always available. Breakfast is served in our flag-stoned floored dining room where you can enjoy watching a wide selection of birds feeding, including the lesser spotted woodpecker, whilst you enjoy your breakfast.
Our comfortable lounge complete with oak beams and an impressive fireplace, which we believe dates back to medieval times, is relaxing for those who just want to relax and perhaps read some of Sue's information brochures crammed full of ideas of what to do and where to go. Valley
The garden and summer house (complete with hot tub) provides a restful environment where you can sit and enjoy the stunning views across the Wye to the wooded hills of the Woolhope Dome. Enjoy the tranquil walks through our permanent pasture fields and along the banks of the River Wye which for over one and a half miles meanders along the border of our farm.
Day licenses are available for coarse and salmon fishing, along part of our riverbank. Valley
